The Challenge
Environmental actions occur in the field, where certification requires reliable photos, location data, maps, supporting documentation, and evidence that can withstand review. Manual collection and report preparation increase processing time, create opportunities for error, and make it difficult to scale certification across different initiatives.
The Solution
The Blue Box developed native iOS and Android applications for camera and GPS-based field capture, supported by Firebase and Google Cloud Functions. The cloud workflow processes and validates data, generates maps and technical reports, and supports the issuance of verifiable certification records, including NFT certificates where required by the program.
